1991- M.C. Hammer offered a $50,000 reward for the return of the white glove worn by
Michael Jackson, which had been stolen from the Motown Museum.

1999- Tom Jones reached the top spot of the UK album chart with ‘Reload’. This made Jones the oldest artist to achieve a No. 1 album in the UK with new material.

2014- A mint-condition copy of The Beatles’ album ‘Please Please Me’ signed by all four primary members of the band sold at a US auction for $36,655.
